Overseer Charlotte Worsley
Overseer Worsley, a founding member of Joy Church DLCF Ministries in Jamaica, NY, served as Sunday School Superintendent, Praise and Worship Leader, Choir Director, Children's Church Pastor and whatever her hand or her pastor found for her to do. She was licensed into ministry by Rev. Marilyn F. Crown in 1984 and ordained in 2005. In 2008 she became co-pastor at Joy Church DLCF Ministries following the passing of Rev. Dr. Crown. The Presiding Prelate of the Unified International Interdenominational Fellowship (now the U.I.A.), Apostle Dr. Roxanne Barnes, noting her gifts and calling, ordained her an Elder at the 2013 UIIF Conference and she was consecrated an Overseer in October of 2014.
Overseer Charlotte Worsley was born in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Although she 'gave the preacher her hand' at a very early age, she became born again, committed and submitted her life to Christ in September 1977. She received her formal education in the New York City public school system and she excelled at coursework at Hostos College in the Bronx, NY, maintaining a 3.5 GPA, distance learning at the University of Biblical Studies and at Rhema Bible Training Center. She is currently pursuing a Degree in Pastoral Leadership from Newburgh Theological Seminary and College of the Bible. She has held positions both supervisory and managerial in various industries such as transportation, auto and finance, having held a state license in life and health. Overseer Worsley, is also an entrepreneur and a licensed real estate professional. In 2011, she took a leap of faith and exited her successful restaurant and catering business of 14 years to go into full time ministry.
She especially credits three powerful and anointed vessels for sowing, imparting and pouring into her life in ways immeasurable. Chief Apostle Dr. Roxanne Barnes, Apostle Barbara L. Connell and Apostle Jonathan W. Fowler. She values the spiritual relationships of her colleagues that were cultivated and made the richer before conception, during the trimesters and on through the birthing process.In early 2014, the Lord spoke directly to the heart of Pastor Worsley and while in her comfort zone of a new direction He would have her go. He conceived within her LIFE Impact Worship Center. Life Impact Worship Center has been called to be a birthing center; the place where true disciples of Christ are birthed. Disciples that emulate Christ, 'Impacting Lives 2 Impact Others'. God has given her a clear mandate to teach, train, develop and deploy Christ centered disciples to the masses. Matthew 28:19. It is this missive that pushes and propels her to press to teach others how to activate their gifts and then aid as a midwife to push them into their purpose and place of assignment.
